Chime-Long Group, Guangzhou, P.R. China is one of the largest group corporations in China, and comprises of 9 subsidiary companies: Chime-Long Paradise, Chime-Long International Circus, Xiangjiang Safari Park, Chime-Long Water Park, Guangzhou Crocodile Park, Chime-Long Hotel, Xiangjiang Hotel, and Chime-Long Golf Practice Center.

      The Chime-Long Group is located in Panyu District, Guangzhou, south of the Pearl River and is situated between the Hua Nan Expressway and no. 105 Motorway. It is accessible by Metro Train Line 3 at the Hanxi-Changlong station. In 2008, Asia’s largest train station will open only 5kms from the Chime-Long Group forming part of the Guangzhou Government’s plan on expansion of this key location.

      As a demonstration base for the Chinese Cultural Department, and as a Science Education Base for the Guangdong Province, the Chime-Long Group has received many awards from both the Guangzhou City and Guangdong Province Government’s. The Chime-Long Group’s strong reputation for excellence has seen many important government officials, both Chinese and foreign, and celebrities come to visit. In 2004, the Brazilian national football team visited the Chime-Long Group, and Mr. Football, Ronaldo, gave many positive comments on the Chime-Long Hotel and the service he received. The Chime-Long Hotel has also hosted the International Super Model and Miss Asia Competitions. There has been a wide variety of media coverage on the Chime-Long Group including the Chime-Long International Circus success and the arrival of Australian Koalas to Xiangjiang Safari Park, the only koalas on the Chinese Mainland. This was then followed by the successful birth of Koala Twins, the second only recorded set of koala twins in history which reached international media coverage. In another media example, Hong Kong’s television Channel, Pearl made a TV drama called “Circus of life” by utilising the Chime-Long International Circus.

      The Chime-Long Group has an established history of excellence and continual improvement in development. After 17 years of business operations the Chime-Long Group has achieved extraordinary success.

      The Chime-Long Group’s development history:

      In 1989, the first subsidiary company Xiangjiang Family Restaurant was established

      In 1994, the 3 star Xiangjiang Hotel was opened in Pan Yu.

 

   In 1997, Xiangjiang Safari Park opened and on its first day received over 80,000 visitors. Xiangjiang Safari Park has over 20,000 animals including white tigers, polar bears, pandas, golden monkeys, koalas, and over 400 other species, including many rare and endangered.

 

  In 2000, Chime-Long Night Zoo opened as one of China’s first and largest night zoos. This became the biggest night time tourist attraction in Guangzhou. In 2005, the Chime-Long Night Zoo temporarily closed due to further expansions occurring around the Chime-Long Group. Presently, the Chime-Long Night Zoo is still under reconstruction.

 

  In 2001, the 5 star Chime-Long Hotel opened its doors, the only hotel in China to be surrounded by a safari park. Because of its location, a new concept in hotel design was created with natural animal exhibits being built within the hotel complex to display animals including white-tigers and flamingos. The Chime-Long Hotel is the best choice in holiday breaks and is a specialist in hosting major conventions.

 

  In 2003, the Chime-Long Golf Practise Range opened. It is the world largest practise range, built over hundred of acres of land and contains 284 international standard practise bays.

 

 

  In 2004, Guangzhou Crocodile Park opened. It is home to over 100,000 crocodiles and is the world’s largest crocodile park.

 

   In October 2005, the Chime-Long International Circus opened. It is the largest permanent circus in the world and gathers the best international circus performers and acts. Since its commencement the circus has staged 3 highly successful shows. The current show, the Forrest Code, combines both east and west circus styles and was created by an international team of designers. It has received international praise for its stage design, international star-studded line up, performances and visual effects.

  In 2006, Chime-Long Paradise Amusement Park opened its doors. It is recognised as one of China’s best theme parks nationally. Chime-Long Paradise has many award winning rides and is included in the Guinness Book of Records for its 10-looped rollercoaster. It consists of 6 different zones, which collectively cater to all types of visitors including children, both young and old and thrill seekers.

In early 2007, Chime-Long Paradise expanded by introducing the world’s largest water stunt show ‘Danger Island’ which consists of the top stunt performers internationally. In edition, the world’s largest Giant Frisbee ride was launch, Asia’s largest 4D Theatre, a fast paced Lumberjack Show and an extravagant Chime-Long Parade.

In mid 2007, the Chime-Long Water Park opened. It is the largest water park in Asia and consists of the latest high tech rides. It consists of the world’s largest wave pool, the world’s first Boomerango ride, the world’s longest lazy river, and some of the fastest speed slides available.
