
In 1997, Xiangjiang Safari Park opened and on its first day received over 80,000 visitors. Xiangjiang Safari Park has over 20,000 animals including white tigers, polar bears, pandas, golden monkeys, koalas, and over 400 other species, including many rare and endangered.
In 2000, Chime-Long Night Zoo opened as one of China’s first and largest night zoos. This became the biggest night time tourist attraction in Guangzhou. In 2005, the Chime-Long Night Zoo temporarily closed due to further expansions occurring around the Chime-Long Group. Presently, the Chime-Long Night Zoo is still under reconstruction.

In 2001, the 5 star Chime-Long Hotel opened its doors, the only hotel in China to be surrounded by a safari park. Because of its location, a new concept in hotel design was created with natural animal exhibits being built within the hotel complex to display animals including white-tigers and flamingos. The Chime-Long Hotel is the best choice in holiday breaks and is a specialist in hosting major conventions.
In 2003, the Chime-Long Golf Practise Range opened. It is the world largest practise range, built over hundred of acres of land and contains 284 international standard practise bays.

In 2004, Guangzhou Crocodile Park opened. It is home to over 100,000 crocodiles and is the world’s largest crocodile park.

In October 2005, the Chime-Long International Circus opened. It is the largest permanent circus in the world and gathers the best international circus performers and acts. Since its commencement the circus has staged 3 highly successful shows. The current show, the Forrest Code, combines both east and west circus styles and was created by an international team of designers. It has received international praise for its stage design, international star-studded line up, performances and visual effects.

In 2006, Chime-Long Paradise Amusement Park opened its doors. It is recognised as one of China’s best theme parks nationally. Chime-Long Paradise has many award winning rides and is included in the Guinness Book of Records for its 10-looped rollercoaster. It consists of 6 different zones, which collectively cater to all types of visitors including children, both young and old and thrill seekers.

In early 2007, Chime-Long Paradise expanded by introducing the world’s largest water stunt show ‘Danger Island’ which consists of the top stunt performers internationally. In edition, the world’s largest Giant Frisbee ride was launch, Asia’s largest 4D Theatre, a fast paced Lumberjack Show and an extravagant Chime-Long Parade.
In mid 2007, the Chime-Long Water Park opened. It is the largest water park in Asia and consists of the latest high tech rides. It consists of the world’s largest wave pool, the world’s first Boomerango ride, the world’s longest lazy river, and some of the fastest speed slides available.
